SpainMy wonderful husband and I recently went on holiday to Spain! We scaled city walls, hiked up volcanoes and saw breath-taking views of the cities below, divulged in tapas and Spanish cuisine. We perused vintage and second-hand shops, and explored ancient castles. We thought we were in heaven when we visited a boutique chocolate shop with interesting mixes of chocolates. They had chocolates mixed with anise seed, saffron, Jamaican pepper, balsamic vinegar, curry, fruits, liqueurs, espresso, and chocolates from all over the world totally over 100 different varieties. We had no idea where to start! But my favorite part was certainly zipping around Barcelona on our rented scooter. We had a blast! As Tyler drove in and out of traffic seamlessly I tried to navigate. For anyone who knows me, that is easier said than done! But, hey, the whole idea was to wander around the city, right? March 19, 2009 |
